Re: Wild Domes
Fri, June 3, 2005 - 3:21 PMHi Andrew
We are looking at buying a 30ft from Pacific Domes. We live on Bowen Island just 30 minute drive from Vancouver in BC. We get a lot of rain out here and wondered about feedback for Dome living in Pacific Northwest weather?
any comments are appreciated
thanks

Re: Wild Domes
Wed, June 8, 2005 - 6:55 PMSure,
Vinyl Skin, 1" Frame, 2 real doors, and a radiant heat floor.
The big window should be a zip out, you can always add glass for the bay window if you know it to be permanent.
The regular vinyl is fantastic, forget the plus. It's too hard to make with good welds.
Forget the insulation all together if you get the radiant heat floor, you won't need it, and the floor is cheaper anyway.
Bowen Island is beautiful, great choice for a dome.
Indeed,
Andrew

Wed, October 3, 2007 - 5:14 PMandrew are you still in hollywood? I am currently in los angeles and am wishing to buy some land up in portland and build a pacific dome. What do you know about the building codes in portland, would it be possible? Has it been done?
thanks
