Does anyone know of a source for Swedish Army snow camo netting? The stuff that looks
like a white tyvek tarp full of holes? It used to be somewhat plentiful and cheap. Now I'm
afraid its hard to find and expensive. It makes for an excellent shade structure cover.

Yes, that stuff is awesome. It can be a bit fragile, tearing in the wind, though, depending on how you secure it.

I saw it go from rare to omnipresent over the course of a few years on the playa.

I got tons of it from majorsurplusnsurvival.com but they don't have any more.

I know a guy who just bought a piece in an army surplus shop in Wellington, New Zealand, but I don;'t know the name of the shop or how much it cost.

Since it was surplus, it's not like they are necessarily making any more of it, so perhaps the supply is drying up.

O MOOP ! I KNEW I shoulda stocked up more / reused. I got my sno from Sportsmans guide for 9 bucks or so. Been using 2-3 a burn and tossing it after. NOW all I can find is in the UK for 20-30 #. I better check the shed, see how much I got left and start reusing it. It looks FANTASTIC covering a GD when backlit.

PS. I have had ONE sheet out of 10 or so made out of a totally different materiel. It was a flat woven hard shiney plastic, kinda like a blue tarp but whiter and stiffer. I REALLY wish I had saved that one.
