so our crew likes to invent a new structure most years.... let's have some two sense on the matter. we want something probably 35 ft diameter. and light since we travel from canada. as a tota and complete f-u to bman i say fuck creativity, let's go with a desert tested sure fire model. is it possible to do a 2 frequncy at a 35 [or more] ft diameter out of ... say 1.5"pvc?. experiences? we have in the past done a 25 ft 3 freq conduit fortress and teehee recognized the overkill. anyhoo- a call out for input and advice.

PVC is too Flexible all your vertices will pop inward the whole thing would be a mess. For a 2V your struts will be about 10 feet long. Maybe look into metal chain link fence poles. Or a better bet would be go to a 3-4V and use conduit.

I have a 2v dome. It's got 10' struts and is made out 2x4s. It maximum diameter is 17'. to do a 35'dia. 2v. you'd need 20' struts and a crane to put it together. I'm not sure, but you could possibly design something with more than one peak and try to get more space. but, that's a lot of engineering. Good luck.
