Hey everyone,
I wanted to share a couple things with you since this group helped inspire their creation. I've been working on a couple of domes for burningman, a 17' radius 2v and a 12' radius 3v. Also since I make free community websites for a living I decided to set one up for geodesic dome builders, so I'd have a place to post up my photos:

Feel free to register and share some pics of your geodesic explorations. By the way if anyone here doesn't already know, Google Sketchup is a great 3d app for mocking up your dome. Unfortunately all of the geodesic models I found, including the primitive included with the app, had tiny little flaws that turned out to take hours to fix. I'll be sharing up some more mathematically accurate primitives when I get some time, but feel free to email me if you'd like to get a copy.
