Adam's Pyramid 02

The 3-level walls are slanted at a 54.7 degree rise from the ground, and joined at the edges to form a pyramid which has 576 sq. feet of floor space, and is 16' 11 3/4" high at the peak. 8' struts were used for this design.

Based on Adam's design, a basic triangle can be expanded to two levels, three levels, etc, and the resulting pyramid gets bigger by adding more struts.

It took 7 of us 6 1/2 hours from first cut till fully assembled. This is the strongest dome i have build and every other one was also overkill :)

Geodesic Disco Orb

This is a 3v geodesic sphere I made from 1/2" EMT (electrical conduit). It is 270 pieces and I used about 28 sticks of EMT including spares. The longest struts are a foot long, which makes the sphere about 4.5 feet in diameter. It weighs about 80 pounds and is very strong. It took me 3 days to finish and cost under $100, I am pretty happy with the results. It will be the centerpiece for our 32' 4V dome at Burning Flipside in Austin. (nerd included in picture for size reference =)

40' in my back yard

We had just finished the 40' and wanted to try it out before the trek to the desert so there it is in my Back yard. Ya the city loved it so much they offered to take it down for free :)

This is the 40' we built to have our night club in for BM 07. It is made out of 1 3/8" top rail fence post and is a V4 Code inforcement loved it when it was set up in my back yard. www.tikifuckos.org

This is the first dome I built. It is a 4v, 21' made of 3/4 emt. Built it as a tent at BM 06 and then have used it as a club since and used as a Bar at BM 07 because we built a 40' for a club. www.tikifuckos.org
